Summer is the perfect time to get outside, take a break from your everyday routine, and enjoy everything downtown Ottawa has to offer.

Whether you’re looking for a midday reset, a reason to get outside, or an excuse to try a new spot to grab coffee or lunch after a workout, downtown makes it easy to build a little wellness into your day.

This summer, take advantage of free outdoor yoga and Pilates on Parliament Hill, then explore some of the local cafés, markets, and grab-and-go spots nearby.

Parliament Yoga

Hosted by Elevate Yoga, Parliament Yoga offers a free outdoor yoga class every Wednesday at 12 p.m. Set against the iconic backdrop of Parliament Hill, these lunchtime sessions are a great way to stretch, recharge, and enjoy some fresh air during your day.

Classes kicked off on July 8 and continue throughout the summer.

Parliament Pilates

Hosted by Soma Pilates, Parliament Pilates is a free outdoor mat Pilates series designed to be welcoming and accessible for all experience levels.

Enjoy a refreshing workout while taking in one of Ottawa’s most iconic views and making the most of summer outdoors.
