Every Wednesday at 12 PM this July, Parliament Hill becomes your yoga studio, with free all-levels classes led by Elevate Yoga. Set against Ottawa’s most iconic backdrop, it's the perfect excuse to pause, breathe, and stretch under the open sky. Best part? You’re just steps away from some of downtown’s best spots for a hearty bite, refreshing drink, or post-flow stroll. Whether you’ve got 60 minutes or a bit more flexibility this summer, we’ve built an easy itinerary to help you turn your lunch break into a full-on midweek refresh.
Grab a Pre-Yoga Caffeine Boost
Start your wellness break with a quick visit to Little Victories Coffee on Elgin Street. Their expertly brewed espresso or iced matcha is just the thing to give you a smooth energy boost before class. Pair it with a light snack if you need something on the go.

Yoga on Parliament Hill
Set your mat down with a view of the Peace Tower and breathe deeply - this is your time.
This free class is beginner-friendly, inspiring, and set to the sounds of summer in the city. No registration required! Just bring a mat, sunscreen, and water.

Post-Yoga Lunch To-Go
After Shavasana, keep the good energy going with a nourishing meal:
- Ottawa Bike Café is a great stop for a healthy salad, cold drink, or quick snack to keep you feeling light and energized.
- For something flavourful and satisfying, head to Sushi Shop or Gooneys. Both offer fast, quality meals perfect for a mid-day pick-me-up.
