Raise a Stein to Oktoberfest 2026 Downtown

Oktoberfest has arrived downtown, and there’s plenty to raise a stein to!

Over the next few weeks, restaurants and pubs downtown are getting into the spirit with German-inspired dishes, seasonal menus, local beer pairings and plenty of pretzels to go around. Whether you’re planning a night out with friends, looking for somewhere to stop after work or simply want an excuse to switch up your usual dinner plans, here are a few spots where you can find Oktoberfest specials downtown: 

The Royal Oak | September 14 - October 11

The Royal Oak is bringing a Bavarian-inspired celebration downtown from September 14 to October 11. Their special German-inspired menu is paired with Paulaner München on draught, giving you the perfect excuse to settle in for an Oktoberfest-inspired meal.

Keep an eye out for Oaktoberfest parties throughout the celebration, featuring live music and festive fun. Grab your friends, raise a stein and settle in for the evening. (Lederhosen optional!)

D’Arcy McGee’s | September 21 - November 1

D’Arcy McGee’s is keeping the Oktoberfest festivities going all the way through November 1 with a dedicated menu of seasonal specials.

With one of the longest Oktoberfest runs on our list, there’s plenty of time to stop in and try the special offerings, whether you’re meeting friends for dinner or making plans for a post-work drink.

Bâton Rouge | September 26 - October 3

At Bâton Rouge, Oktoberfest comes with a hearty lineup of bratwurst sausages, fingerling potatoes, sauerkraut and large pretzels.

The special is also being paired with a Kölsch from Ottawa’s own Beyond the Pale Brewing Company, bringing a local beer into the mix. It’s available for a limited time, so this one is worth adding to the calendar.

Bier Markt | September 28 - October 25

Bier Markt is bringing a full lineup of Oktoberfest food and drink specials to the table from September 28 to October 25.

Choose from Oktoberfest favourites including a pretzel with cheese dip, sausage on a bun, a sausage dinner and schnitzel. You can even take the celebration home with an Oktoberfest clay stein for just $3 more.
